The Orange Guy

Text message terms

What you get if you give us your mobile number when you order, and how to stop.

Who texts you

The Orange Guy runs citrus fundraisers for schools, teams, churches and clubs. When you order from someone selling for one of those groups, the messages come from The Orange Guy, from +18776519244. The platform is operated on their behalf by Cresora Commerce.

What you agreed to

You gave a mobile number on the order page and agreed there to receive texts about your order. If someone took your order in person, they asked you before writing your number down. We never add a number any other way, and we do not text people who have not ordered.

What we send

Only messages about an order you placed:

  • Confirmation that your order was received
  • A receipt once your payment is confirmed
  • A reminder if your payment has not arrived yet
  • Pickup or delivery details when your fruit is ready

No marketing, and no messages from anyone else.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies — usually two or three per order, between ordering and collecting your fruit. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for messages.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to any message and they end. You will get one confirmation that they have stopped, and nothing after it. Reply START to turn them back on, or HELP for help.

Stopping texts does not cancel your order. You will still get everything by email, and your fruit still arrives.

Your number

We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. It is used to send the messages above and to let the group reach you about your order. It reaches our messaging provider because that is who carries the text, and nowhere else. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Help

Reply HELP to any message, or email kristin@theorangeguy.com . For a question about a particular order, the fastest answer is the group you ordered from — their address is on your order page and on every email we send you.
